COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING I - FAMILY
Course Outcomes:
Given actual clients in the hospital setting the Level II students will be able to:
- Apply knowledge of physical, social, natural and health sciences, and humanities in the care of individual & family in the community setting.
- Provide safe, appropriate, holistic care to individuals, family in community utilizing nursing process.
- Apply guidelines and principles of evidence-based practice in the delivery of care to individual family in the community setting.
- Practice nursing in community setting in accordance with law, legal, ethical & moral principles.
- Communicate effectively in speaking, writing & presenting using culturally appropriate language in the community setting.
- Document care of individual & family accurately & comprehensively. Reporting up-to-date client care accurately & comprehensively.
- Work effectively in collaboration with inter-, intra-, and multi- disciplinary and multi-cultural teams in the care of individuals and family in the community
- Practice beginning management & leadership skills are using a system approach in the delivery of care to individual & family.
- Participate in research with an experience researcher in the care of individual client & family in the community setting..
- Engage in lifelong learning with a passion to keep current with national and global development in the care of individual & family in the community setting.
- Demonstrate responsible citizenship and pride of being a Filipino.
- Apply techno-intelligent care systems and process safe & efficient nursing activities for individual & family in the community.
- Adopt the nursing core values in the practice of the profession
- Apply entrepreneurial skills in the delivery of nursing care to individuals and families in community setting.
- Integrate the core values in the care of individuals and families in community setting .
